RIGHT TO OUT-OF-COURT CONSUMER DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Pursuant to Articles 171-189 of the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No. 35/2026), consumer disputes may be resolved through out-of-court consumer dispute resolution proceedings before a body competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.

The Seller is obliged to participate in out-of-court consumer dispute resolution proceedings conducted by a body for out-of-court consumer dispute resolution.

Proceedings before a body for out-of-court consumer dispute resolution may be initiated by a consumer only if the consumer has previously submitted a complaint or objection to the Seller.
